Importance of Diaper Changing Tables at Daycare
Maybe changing diapers isn’t exactly one of the perks of the job for a daycare worker, but it’s part of the daily routine and has to be done. If it needs to be done anyway, why not make it as easy and hassle-free as possible? Your choice of diaper changing tables at your daycare is an important choice, because you are going to be spending a lot of time at this particular table. So you should choose carefully.
Evaluate the height of the table to ensure a comfortable change. Also, determine whether you’ll have necessary space to fit all of baby’s supplies while you are changing the diaper. Nothing is worse than having to change a wiggly, fussy baby on a cramped changing surface. Without room for the appropriate supplies, a baby’s foot can stomp right in a messy diaper. Or worse! Avoid preventable messes by getting diaper changing tables that have enough space to work comfortably with. Some diaper changing tables even make changes easier by providing a built-in portable sink next to the changing pad area for easy hand-washing afterward, which is another important part of employment at a daycare!
