Deck Post Caps an Inexpensive Addition Adds Value

Installing our deck this summer in our backyard was an expensive and stressful project, but it had to be done. The deck addition no doubt has added substantial value to the house while momentarily draining the checkbook. Fortunately there were a few items that we were able to get some great deals on that didn’t put as much as a strain on the finances while simultaneously increasing the overall value – those items were deck post caps. We even dressed up the deck a bit with deck finials on the prominent corners of the deck. I didn’t even think about that option till I came across finials during my online research. In these rough economic times, we all are looking for simple ways to stretch the dollar and these deck post caps and deck finials really allowed me to do that for our deck.
